The Havergal College Tennis Courts, first established in 1937 and fully refurbished in 2025, reflect Havergal’s ongoing commitment to advancing women in sport. Launching in 2026, The Havergal Tennis Club will welcome alumni, parents, neighbours and the broader community as members. Unlike other clubs, all court time outside of school use will be reserved exclusively for members, with bookable access available seven days a week during the outdoor season (April–October). Members will also enjoy beautifully maintained courts with evening lighting, convenient parking and inviting viewing areas.

The Havergal College Tennis Club features six premier hard courts with lighting for extended play from April through October. Each court is outfitted with player benches, while surrounding spectator seating ensures friends and family can enjoy the action. Members can recharge at the Club Office with snacks and refreshments, or relax at the pavilion complete with picnic seating and a water fountain. Modern amenities, including indoor washrooms and water fountains, are accessible through the Athletic Centre and pool entrances, with showers and change rooms available exclusively via the Athletic Centre.

Membership

Experience premier court access in a welcoming, community-driven environment. Whether you’re a frequent player looking for priority booking or an occasional guest joining friends for a match, the Havergal College Tennis Club offers flexible membership options designed to fit your game.

General Membership

$500 + HST
Our General Membership is designed for committed players who want priority access and the flexibility to play throughout the season.

Guest Membership

$50 + HST; $15 Court Fee per Booking
Perfect for occasional players who want to join the action without committing to full booking privileges.

Please note: Guest Members cannot independently book or reserve courts; access is limited to invitations from a General Member; and a $15 guest court fee applies each time a guest participates in a booking.

Registration & Waiting List

Registration

Club members, wait listed players and prospective members should keep in mind a few key dates and processes in order to renew or obtain club membership with Havergal College.

On August 1 of each year, our Memberships go on sale to any returning Members who are interested in rejoining us for the year.

On August 10 of each year, any of the remaining adult membership spaces that were not sold to returning Members will be made available to players on the clubs waiting list, in priority sequence.

Booking Rules

Please note, we may add additional booking restrictions if the demands on the courts become challenging. No spectators or parents are allowed on the courts.

Booking a Court

Member bookings must include the name of each member or guest that accompanies you on court.
Guests must be registered prior to your scheduled booking.
Members can book online seven days in advance (as of 6:30 pm, seven days in advance).
Members cannot reserve two court bookings on the same day.
Members are limited to one pre-reserved booking during weekdays and one pre-reserved booking during weekends.
24 hours in advance, any availability will open up to all members which allow members to book a maximum of two hours.
Members are limited to two hours of bookings per day, including the addition of same day bookings.
Members who do not show up for their court booking will be charged a $25 “no show” fee.
